What items do you deliver ?

We deliver all sorts of physical products, except furniture. We don’t deliver food & drinks for instant consumption. And we don’t deliver illegal & inappropriate items, like drugs/narcotics, explosive materials, live tissues & alcohol…

 

Where does Falcon Logistic deliver?

Falcon Logistics Deliver all over Lebanon.

 

How much time does a deliver take?

We have 3 delivery services, you can check them on the “delivery for individual” page. Briefly, for normal services, delivery takes between 1 to 5 days. If the delivery is within Saida or within Beirut the delivery usually takes between 1 to 2 days. When the delivery is from different regions it takes between 2 to 5 days.

 

How much does the delivery cost?

The cost varies depending on your location relatively to the supplier.

Delivery within Saida and Within Beirut costs $2. Delivery to other regions cost $2.5

 

What are your working hours?

Our operations & delivery services are available from 9 am to 6 pm on the weekdays & from 9 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.

 

What are your payment/collection policies?

     We collect from the client, the amount stated on the receipt from the trader, including the delivery fee.

     No discounts or changes in the order can take place at the time of delivery. The item is either paid fully or returned to the office.

     An item priced in a certain currency is paid in this currency.

     Any item priced in dollars & paid by the customer in the Lebanese Pound happens at the black market rate + 1000 LBP to compensate for any additional expenses.

 

FAQ (Delivery for Individuals)

 

What should I do with a broken, torn up, or lost item?

You are eligible for compensation from Falcon Logistics if the broken item or lost item happened due to an accident from the team.

You can reclaim this right only on the day of the delivery.

 

Can I track my order?

Not yet. We are working on this option as soon as our software is in place. For now, you can follow up with us once we notify you that your order is well-received.

 

What should I do if I receive the wrong item within the order?

Any mistake in the order is dealt over between you & the supplier or online shop. The delivery man can never be involved. You either fully pay for the order or you dismiss it & we return it to the office to deal with the sales party. You are never allowed to partially take the order.

 

What if I receive my order at a different price than the one agreed upon with the supplier or online shop?

Any change in the price of the order is dealt over between you & the supplier or online shop. The delivery man can never be involved. You either fully pay for the order or you dismiss it & we return it to the office to deal with the sales party. You are never allowed to partially take the order.

 

What documents should I provide to submit a claim for the loss or damage of an item?

How long does it take Falcon Logistics to respond to my submitted claim?

Falcon Logistics takes a period of 10 business days to respond to submitted claims.

1.   If the claim is admissible, the compensation amount will be determined; or

2.   If the claim is not admissible, you will be notified of the reason.

 

How do I pay the driver for my orders? (Mode of payments)

You can pay either by debit card or credit card, which we call it POS, or you can opt for Cash on Delivery, which means you pay the price of your item at the time of the delivery.

 

What happens if I’m not at home at the time of the delivery?

The driver always gets in touch with you before the delivery, to check your availability.

In case you confirmed your availability and then had to leave your place, the order will return to the office FREE of charge for another trial.

If the 2nd delivery attempt is dropped without noticing the driver, the delivery will be double-charged for next time.

 

FAQ (Logistics)

 

How should I coordinate the item’s pickup & delivery with Falcon Logistics?

Whether the delivery requires a car or a motorcycle, the pickup should be requested one day ahead, to schedule it based on availability and deliver the product on time. Instant notification should happen for urgent & same-day delivery.

 

What are the items that can’t be stored at Falcon Logistics Warehouse?

Any item that violates Lebanon’s civil defense regulations & puts human lives in danger is prohibited in our warehouse.

Items such as:

    Any hazardous materials that require special storage conditions

    Explosives

    Waste materials

    Living tissues

     Drugs

 

What documents should I provide to submit a claim for the loss or damage of an item due to the shipment?

To make sure everything is transparent from our side and yours, we require the following documents:

 

1.   Waybill of shipment which was lost or damaged;

2.   Photographs of the damaged shipment, if available;

3.   Commercial invoice of items in the lost or damaged shipment. If a proforma invoice is provided instead of a commercial invoice, then the item will be deemed to be a used secondhand item; and

4.   Packing list, if available.

 

 How long does it take Falcon Logistics to respond to my submitted claim?

How do we deal with an unresponsive or unreachable client?

Falcon Logistics will always notify you when a customer isn’t responsive or is unreachable due to a wrong address, phone number, or other reasons. Our customer service agent will be in touch with you to deal with every case in the best way.

 

How does Falcon Logistics act if the customer is not at home at the time of the delivery?

The driver always contacts the client before the delivery, to check their availability.

What type of weight do you consider when storing our packages in your facilities?

Falcon Logistics takes into consideration the actual weight which is the weight of the package & the volumetric weight which is the dimension of the package: Length x Width x Height

In order to define the total weight of the package, we calculate the actual & volumetric weight of the package and the larger figure is applied. 

 

Can you provide your services to a foreign investor?

Anyone, regardless of nationality, whether residing in Lebanon or abroad, can make our team of consultants in Falcon Logisics successful partners in the investment journey in the Logistics market around the world.
